NFL Week 8 – Injury Check Down Report

Carlos Hyde

With Hyde out, the sputtering Niners offense will now be without the team’s best player

Carlos Hyde – OUT  San Francisco Running Back will not play Sunday and is expected to miss multiple games due to a stress fracture in his left foot. Expect Reggie Bush to get the start.

Marcus Mariota- OUT

Stevan Ridley- New York Jets Running Back is active off the PUP List. He should see some playing time this Sunday behind Chris Ivory.

James Stark- Green Bay Running Back should play Sunday. Fantasy owners will find it difficult to count on him especially against the Denver Broncos who currently rank fourth against the run this year.

Dez Bryant- Dallas Cowboys Wide Receiver will be active this week against the Seattle Seahawks. He is expected to be limited, but that is easier said than done.

John Brown- Arizona Cardinals Wide Receiver is a wait and see project this week. Expect him to play against the Browns, according to head coach Bruce Arians. He has yet to be ruled out.

Leonard Hankerson- Atlanta Falcons Wide Receiver will not play Sunday against the Buccaneers. Expect Roddy White to play a bigger role in the offense.

Vincent Jackson- Tampa Bay Buccaneers Wide Receiver is not expected to play this week, but should return in a couple weeks

Ty Montgomery- Green Bay Packers Wide Receiver is listed as questionable this week against the Broncos. He has not practiced all week and Davante Adams is set to make his return to the offense this week.

Anquan Boldin- San Francisco 49ers Wide Receiver is listed as questionable this week against the St Louis Rams. He told reporters that there is no doubt that he will play, so expect him to suit up and be ready to go. The 49ers are struggling offensively so hopefully he can make an impact.

Eric Decker- New York Jets Wide Receiver is listed as questionable this week against the Raiders after suffering a knee injury last week. Despite the injury, expect him to suit up and be ready to play.

Antonio Gates- San Diego Chargers Antonio Gates will most likely not play due to an MCL sprain that takes 3 to 4 weeks to fully heal. Ladarius Green has an unfavorable matchup against the Ravens.

Austin Seferian-Jenkins- Tampa Bay Buccaneers Tight End is unlikely to play this week against the Falcons according to head coach Lovie Smith. Expect Wide Receiver Mike Evans to have a heavy workload in the offense.

Marcus Mariota- OUT

Ben Roethlisberger- Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback is finally back and listed as probable against the Bengals.

Josh McCown- McGown is expected to start Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Expect him to have a rough game going against a vicious defense. Johnny Manziel could still see some reps.
