After exploding onto the scene during the second half of last season, Bengals running back Jeremy Hill should be on every one’s fantasy radar. This fantasy powerhouse cashed in last season when Giovanni Bernard went down with a hip injury topping the NFL in rushing yards and yards per carry during the second half of the year.
Hill finished the season with 1,124 rushing yards, nine rushing touchdowns and a dizzying 5.1 yards per carry and is not expected to slow down coming into 2015. Even with a healthy Gio Bernard, Hill is the go-to-guy for Cincinnati. The hip injury was definitely a huge set back for Bernard and Hill obviously made the most of his opportunity.
Another big contribution to Hill’s success last year was the absence of the team’s top receiver, A.J. Green. With Green out, the Bengals turned to Hill as the centerpiece of the team’s offense. Now that the Bengals understand what they have, expect offensive coordinator Hue Jackson to run Hill until the wheels fall off making him a must own fantasy RB coming into the new season.
