There won’t be any more salsa dancing this year for Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz. Cruz underwent knee surgery which puts an end to his 2013 season. This is just more bad news for a Giants team who has already came up short on expectations.
Victor Cruz had an up and down season this year. Only three out of the 15 games that he played, did he break the hundred yard receiving mark. He also only scored 4 touchdowns the whole entire year, 3 of which came from one game.
With Cruz out, this sets the stage for Jerrel Jernigan to assume the Giants slot receiver duties for the last two games. Fellow wide outs Hakeem Knicks and Rueben Randle will have to pick up the slack. What a terrible year for the New York Giants offense and now their best offensive weapon is out for the season.
