Jacksonville Jaguars running back Jordan Todman stepped up in Week 15 when given the start from head coach Gus Bradley in place of the injured Maurice Jones-Drew.
In Todman’s first career start at the pro level, he accomplished a feat that took starter Jones-Drew till midseason to conquer when he rushed for 100+ yards on the ground. Todman finished the game with more than 150 total yards of offense.
It seems like the Jaguars won’t decide who will get the start until later in the week. If the rookie back out of the University of Connecticut does draw the start he will have a favorable matchup against a Tennessee Titan team that has allowed almost 120 rush yards per game this season.
Todman is also used in the Jags pass game often, in Week 15 he caught 4 passes for 40 yards including a 30 yard catch and run. He is currently owned in 48% of CBS leagues and if available is a must own fantasy player. Even if you don’t have a spot for him in your starting lineup pick him up so you don’t have to go against him.
Todman has been used in the offense all season and hasn’t turned the ball over once, after a breakout week against Buffalo the Titans will want to see what their 6th round draft pick can do next.
Monitor the running back situation up until Sunday, if Todman gets the start he is a solid #2 running back with upside that could push your fantasy team to championship greatness.
