Maurice Jone-Drew is dealing with hamstring issues and is seeking medical clearance for this Sunday’s matchup against the Buffalo Bills. Jones-Drew will test his strained hamstring out at practice on Friday and is extremely questionable until then.
So far this season, Jones-Drew has been underperforming accumulating only 719 rushing yards and 5 rushing touchdowns. His current 3.5 yards per carry is the lowest of his entire career.
Jones-Drew is coming off of his 1st 100-yard game of the season. If he is ruled out for this weekend, his replacement will be Jordan Todman, the second year back out of Connecticut. Todman has only had 46 carries this season for 146 yards, but should get enough carries to help your fantasy team if MJD is out.
Todman should thrive against the Buffalo rush defense that allows more than 124 rushing yards per game and 4.2 yards-per-carry.
