Bears Quarterback Josh McCown Facing Stormy Weather

Weather could be a big factor in tomorrow's Bears and Ravens game

Weather could be a big factor in tomorrow’s Bears and Ravens game

Bears quarterback Jay Cutler is out once again and veteran backup Josh McCown will get the start against the Baltimore Ravens for Week 11. The question is, is Josh McCown is worth a start for your fantasy team?

The weather forecast for Chicago is a mess with heavy rains and damaging winds in the forecast. This could shut down the aerial attack for both squads.

McCown has already started two games and was once again thrust into the spotlight last week when Cutler went down with an injury. Over the course of the past three games, McCown has thrown for 538 yards and 4 touchdowns. He connects well with his big time receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery who have been on fire lately.

The Bears play the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday who are ranked 19th against opposing quarterbacks. Baltimore has given up 5 touchdown passes to the likes of quarterbacks Andy Dalton and Jason Campbell.

McCown might be a viable option in Chicago tomorrow, but the weather forecast is calling for violent thunderstorms and damaging winds. This could turn a potential shoot out into a muddy ground game for both teams.
