Week 10 is upon us and it is time to get that early Thursday Night Football fantasy lineup set. When the Washington Redskins travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings, several key fantasy matchups can give you the edge going into Sunday.
Robert Griffin III: Robert Griffin III and the Washington Redskins take on the porous pass defense of the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday. The Vikings are currently allowing an average of 291.1 yards per game through the air, good enough for 29th in the NFL. RGIII is a strong fantasy option against the Vikings during Week 10.
Pierre Garcon: Like RGIII, Pierre Garcon will benefit immensely in Week 10 against the struggling Vikings pass defense. After pulling in seven receptions for 172 against the San Diego Chargers in Week 9, fantasy owners should expect similar stats in his Thursday night matchup against the Vikings.
Greg Jennings: The Vikings quarterback situation is a mess this season. After trading for former Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Josh Freeman and then forcing him into the starting lineup too early, the Vikings were forced to go back to Christian Ponder when Freeman suffered a concussion. This season has spelled disaster for the Vikings pass attack. Bench Greg Jennings until the Vikings can figure out their quarterback situation.
Roy Helu: Washington Redskins second year running back Alfred Morris has been on fire recently. Through the last two games, he’s rushed for 214 yards and two touchdowns. This hot streak has taken away from fellow running back Roy Helu’s fantasy production. Helu usually is that goal line back that racks up the touchdowns. Until Morris starts slowing down however, keep Helu on your bench.
