The Atlanta Falcons receiving corps has been depleted to say the least. Julio Jones was having a career season until he was injured and Roddy White has not played in three weeks. The wide receiver who has had to pick up the slack is Harry Douglas. Roddy White is back this week and the question is, can Harry Douglas still be a solid fantasy start.
Harry Douglas is usually the third wide out on the team, but with the circumstances he has become the number one. Douglas has made his opportunity count so far, in the last three weeks he has recorded 352 yards on 22 receptions. Douglas has become Matt Ryan’s favorite receiving target and his production shouldn’t take that much of a hit with Roddy Whites return.
Harry Douglas will still continue to be a relevant fantasy starter with Matt Ryan throwing the ball. He does have a tough matchup this week against a stagnant Seahawks defense. The Falcons will be throwing the ball early and often and Douglas is bound to see the ball come his way with the attention shifting to Roddy White.
Douglas has been a yardage machine and defenses may let him slip through for big gains with their attention focussed on Roddy White and Tony Gonzalez.
