Green Bay Packers wide receiver James Jones is still out with a sprained left knee and his status is pretty cloudy at the moment. He injured his knee October 13th and has been limited at Packers practice all week long.
Word around the Packers camp was that he had a shot to play last week and if not he would have a good chance to play this week, that is obviously not the case. The sprained knee had Jones limited in practice Thursday, but he’s still no more prepared to go than last week.
It seems like this injury was overlooked by the Packers and will take longer than they anticipated. Jones status for this week’s game against Chicago is up in the air at this point but things are not in his favor. The only good thing is that it is a Monday night game so Jones will have an extra day to rehab the knee.
