Ravens wide receiver Jacoby Jones is ready to build off a strong Week 6 performance against the Green Bay Packers. After making the most out of his opportunities, his role is expected to increase in hopes that he could help bolster the Ravens passing game moving forward.
Although Jones was only targeted twice in his first game back, he caught both passes for a total of 42 yards and a touchdown that kept the Ravens in the game.
Jones is not the number one target for quarterback Joe Flacco, but this could wind up working in his favor for Baltimore’s Week 7 contest with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The focal points of the Ravens offense include Ray Rice and Torrey Smith, so opponents will not necessarily prepare for the 29-year-old Jones.
Look for Jones to beat the Pittsburgh secondary with his blazing speed for another score this week. As long as Flacco continues to survey the field effectively before making his throws, there’s no reason why Jones should not see some success.
Consider Jacoby Jones a WR3 or flex option for Week 7 in standard fantasy formats.
