Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will be held out of this week’s contest against the Buccaneers with a hamstring injury. It looks like the team has decided to start Nick Foles, even though Vick returned to practice on Friday.
Chip Kelly obviously feels comfortable starting Foles who has already thrown 3 touchdowns with no picks while filling in for Vick. Kelly wants to make sure that Vick is fully healed before he inserts him back into the lineup.
The Eagles have one of the NFL’s easiest schedules going forward with matchups against The Giants, Oakland and Washington in upcoming weeks. Vick should once again be a top producing quarterback after this week. Find another option for Week 6, but don’t forget to get him back in your starting lineup when he returns.
