Rob Gronkowski on Track for Week 6 Return

New England Patriots Tight End Rob Gronkowski has no plans to rush back into action. Tom Brady has stated to reporters he certainly could use his all pro tight end and he has been practicing regularly, but don’t let that fool you.

Gronkowski has made the mistake of taking the field too soon after injuries in the past. During Week 11 of the 2012 season, Gronk broke his arm missing Weeks 12 – 16. He mad an ill-advised return in the playoffs and snapped the same forearm on a routine diving catch. He does not want to make the same mistake.

The former Arizona Wildcat told his teammates he might not return until Week 6 against New Orleans Saints.

When he does return, he will most likely be 100% healthy and ready to dominate defenses once again. Gronkowski holds the record for most receiving yards(1,327) and touchdowns(18) in a single season by a Tight End.

It’s hard for fantasy owners to be patient, but he might actually be worth the wait.
