A week after getting humiliated by the Seattle Seahawks, 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick fumbled his way to another embarrassing performance against the Colts.
The fantasy owners that wasted their draft pick on Kaepernick are feeling sick to their stomachs on Monday morning trying to find a way to stop the bleeding.
Like Tom Brady, Kaepernick has very few viable receiving options.
“But while Brady is finding ways to win, Kaepernick looks like a injured ferret trying to cross a busy highway.”
He managed to complete only 13 of 27 passes for 150 yards. He topped off his disastrous outing against an underwhelming Colts defense with a 4th quarter interception and a lost fumble.
In his last two games, Kaepernick has an average quarterback rating of 35. He’s completed less than 50 percent of his passes and has not been able to find the end zone.
This may seem hasty, but Kaepernick can no longer be considered a viable fantasy starter. Until he gets some receivers back into the lineup and stops turning the ball over, he can No LONGER be trusted to lead your fantasy squad week in and week out.
However, this is not the week to dump Kaepernick, because the Niners have a favorable matchup on Thursday night against a horrendous Rams pass defense.
