The Steelers tight end Heath Miller will be back in action this week for the first time since suffering a complete repair of his ACL, MCL and PCL. The 30-year-old Miller will see his first action since that terrible injury and will likely be on very limited snap count against the Bears on Sunday night at home in Pittsburgh.
Miller has been one of Ben Roethlisberger’s most reliable targets over the years. With that said, fantasy owners should temper their expectations heading into Week 3.
The Steelers offense has been horrendous so far this season and the offensive line is not protecting the quarterback. Pittsburgh will be up against a tough Chicago Bears defense that only gave up 49 yards to Minnesota Vikings tight ends last week.
Heath Miller is going to be a sight for sore eyes for Roethlisberger, but Miller has a long way to go before he is anywhere close to fantasy relevant. Fantasy owners should hold off on Miller until he shows us something first.
