Fantasy owners can breathe a huge sigh of relief after Chicago Bears wide receiver Brandon Marshall was a full participant in Friday’s practice. This is very positive news after he had to leave Thursday’s practice with tightness in his back.
Marshall has had several injury issues, but none of them have been his back. The outstanding wide receiver has had three arthroscopic knee surgeries and those led to hip issues earlier this year.
These issues with Brandon Marshall’s back should not deter fantasy owners from starting him this Sunday. Marshall is an undisputed #1 wide receiver whenever he takes the field. The only BUT to this story is that owners will have to keep an eye on Marshall going forward as lingering injuries tend to pose a problem down the road.
The Steelers have allowed 202.5 yards receiving per game which points towards Marshall having an outstanding day against a much maligned Pittsburgh defense.
