Rams running back Daryl Richardson sat out practice Wednesday with an injured foot, but was back in business for the Rams on Thursday. He practiced in full with no limitations and should be good to go for Week 3 in Dallas. This is the same injury that gave Richardson problems during Week 2, he’s obviously back on track.
Richardson has been struggling to be effective in the Rams running game, but has managed to get involved minimally in the passing game as well. During his first two games, the second year back has rushed 30 times for 98 yards, but has also hauled in 10 passes for 78 yards, creating 176 all purpose yards in his first 2 games.
It’s possible that Richardson will have his carries limited in Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys, and this could free up some playing time for back up tailbacks Isaiah Pead and Zac Stacy. Daryl Richardson’s injury does not seem to be too serious, but fantasy owners will want to watch the news this week to make sure he has no setbacks.
Dallas has been pretty good at stopping the run so far this season, but Richardson has the chance to put a decent game in PPR formats with his pass catching skills. In standard formats, fantasy owners could be in for a long day.
