Tennessee Titans running back, Shonn Greene, had arthroscopic knee surgery on Monday. Luckily for the Titans, it doesn’t seem too serious because he should only be sidelined for a week or two.
The former Jets running back rushed for only 18 yards on four carries in the season opener against the Pittsburgh Steelers. He left the game with a knee injury and has not practiced with the team since.
Veteran Chris Johnson will continue to carry the load with Jackie Battle behind him. It’s safe to say Tennessee will ease Greene back into the offense once he is healthy.
