David Wilson Benched After Pair of Fumbles

After his second fumble, David Wilson’s night was over in Dallas

Giants head coach Tom Couglin is not known for his patience and after his starting running back fumbled the ball for the second time, he had seen enough. Just like last season’s  game against the Cowboys, Coughlin sent David Wilson to the bench to contemplate his inability to hold onto the ball.

Wilson lost his first ball against the Cowboys just four minutes into the game, but Coughlin gave him another chance. Wilson rewarded him by missing a block that got Manning sacked and then coughed the ball up again to start the third quarter. The coach decided that the Giants would be better off with Wilson on the bench and ended his night right there.

The Giants are in no position to be picky and Wilson isn’t going anywhere, but his fumbling issues have always been a problem and must be a concern for fantasy owners.

The Giants have been working out veteran running backs all week long and will try to sign one of them this week.
