New England Patriots newly acquired wide receiver Danny Amendola was a full go at practice on Friday after dealing with a groin issue. He’s ready to hit the field at full speed for the Patriots Week 1 matchup against the Bills.
The 27-year-old Amendola has played in only 12 games over the past two seasons as injuries have continued to keep him sidelined. Last season he separated his SC joint, causing his clavicle to cave in and nearly damaging his aorta and trachea, last season.
During 11 games played last season, Amendola hauled in 63 receptions for 666 yards and three touchdowns.
Fantasy owners should consider Amendola a must-start fantasy option in all formats when healthy. Now that he’s close to full speed, he and quarterback Tom Brady should shred the Buffalo secondary on the road tomorrow.
