Eagles Trade Felix Jones to Steelers

The Philadelphia Eagles traded running back Felix Jones to the Steelers in exchange for outside linebacker Adrian Robinson.

Last year, Jones had 664 yards from scrimmage and 5 total touchdowns. The 6th year veteran will join a crowded group of running backs in Pittsburgh, where his usage is unknown.

In fantasy terms, Jones isn’t worth much unless the Steelers unveil any plans to make him a starter. With Le’Veon Bell out with a foot injury, the Steelers are obviously trying to add some depth to their running back situation.

It will be interesting to see how Jones stacks up in the backfield against Isaac Redman and Jonathan Dwyer. As long as the Steelers are using the running back by committee approach in the Steel City, fantasy owners should steer clear all Pittsburgh running backs.
