Detroit Lions Reggie Bush is the 20th ranked running back in this year’s 2013 fantasy draft standings. With an Average Draft Position (ADP) of 20, he is likely to be taken sometime in the second round of most fantasy drafts.
Bush has the chance to have a breakout season with his team, as he will be the feature back of the Detroit Lions. Bush rushed for 1,086 yards with Miami in 2011, and 986 yards in 2012. With a couple seasons of experience under his belt, he should thrive under Lions offensive coordinator, Scott Linehan who loves to use his running backs in the passing game.
Bush is coming to a Detroit team that has not had a reliable tailback in several years and can quickly establish himself as major cog in the Lions offense.
Detroit quarterback Matthew Stafford and wide receiver Calvin Johnson have led the pass heavy Detroit offense without a consistent running game for several seasons now. With a legitimate threat out of the backfield, the offense has a chance to become a multilateral powerhouse.
Reggie Bush is a running back still on the rise with the ability to get production in the passing game as well. Bush can be taken in the 2nd round in standard 12 team leagues, with the opportunity to do some serious damage this season.
